Brydens Compensation Lawyers sailed by Lee Knapton, Ricky Bridges and owner Peter mackie convincingly won the 2013 National Championships with a scoreline of 1-1-2-1-1-2-5. Brydens used a full new set of MacDiarmid 16 foot skiff sails set on custom CST carbon rigs designed by Graham Mackeller.

Vale, John "Jack" Mckeller 1922-2012

All of us at MacDiarmid Sails are saddened to hear of the passing of John Mckeller, aged 90.

John Passed away peacefully in Belmont Hospital on Sunday 17th of June, 2012.

He is survived by his wife Sandra and sons Graham and Mathew.

John, also known as "Jack" was a second generation sailmaker whose father made sails for the square rigged ships.

He was a keen sportsman, winning state championships in Sailing, Cycling, boxing and wrestling.

His on Graham has managed MacDiarmid Sails Belmont for 20 years.

Our deepest sympathy for his family.

Using our sails, Ed Psaltis’ brand new Ker 40 AFR Midnight Rambler has made a stunning ocean racing debut taking line honours and the PHS Division 1 win in the Sydney Amateur Sailing Club’s Lion Island Race, which also marks the start of the CYCA’s Ocean Pointscore and Grant Thornton Short Ocean Pointscore Series.
