MacDiarmid Sails Helps Achieve Dream Debut

Using our sails, Ed Psaltis’ brand new Ker 40 AFR Midnight Rambler has made a stunning ocean racing debut taking line honours and the PHS Division 1 win in the Sydney Amateur Sailing Club’s Lion Island Race, which also marks the start of the CYCA’s Ocean Pointscore and Grant Thornton Short Ocean Pointscore Series.

One More, No More, the Beneteau First 35 owned by Ian and Jean Guanaria has taken out the CYCA's Monday IRC series by 3 points from the TP 52 Quest. The 20 race series came down tot he final race with One More, No More holding a narrow 2 point lead over Quest. The final race was sailed in a 15-16 knot North Easter and with the breeze hanging around for the final run, One More, No More took out the race by 50 seconds from Quest with Kirribilli in 3rd. The win gave the little Beneteau first place overall for the season. Along with the IRC victory, Ian and Jean managed to take out 2nd place overall in the PHS series.
